Krajete GmbH has conducted the first biogas sampling campaign at the
ChainCraft biorefinery in Amsterdam, marking a significant milestone for the GoodByO project.
Center for Sustainable Future Technologies – CSFT@Polito and Technische Universität Wien are now ready to optimize the acetogenic bacterium to enhance its growth and bio-hexanol production from the CO₂ fraction present in biogas through “Gas Fermentation” technology (Microbial Factory 2).
Meanwhile, Masarykova univerzita Brno (Czech Republic) will initiate a screening campaign on anaerobic photosynthetic microorganisms to select the most suitable one for developing an anaerobic biogas desulfurization process (Microbial Factory 3).
One of the main objectives of GoodByO is to develop new bioprocesses using real sources of unpurified biogenic CO₂, bridging laboratory research with their future industrial applications right from the early stages.
