On 10 and 11 April 2025, the first Consortium Meeting of the European project GoodByO (Multi-commodities microbial-driven BiOrefinery based on food-processing industry wastes, biogenic CO2 and bioprocess wastewaters), in which the CIB also participated, took place in Brno, Czech Republic. The meeting was hosted by the project partner Masarykova univerzita Brno. During the two days, each partner updated the other participants on the progress of activities. In the case of the CIB, which is responsible for communication and dissemination activities, these first six months meant putting the project website online, sending out the first newsletter and constantly updating the LinkedIn social page. Focus groups were then held to better organise the activities of the next six months. At the end of the project activities, the visit was also an opportunity to visit the University’s laboratories.
